According to the financial news on December 28, 2024, the information from the State Intellectual Property Office shows that China Metallurgical Construction Group Corporation has obtained a patent called "A battery assembly with aerogel thermal runaway protection", with the authorization announcement number CN222214332U and the application date of December 2023.


The patent abstract shows that the utility model proposes an aerogel thermal runaway-proof battery assembly, which is suitable for various types of batteries and can be applied to different application scenarios. The system includes an aerogel plate, a battery cell, a phase change material, a liquid cooling plate and an outer frame.
